Charge your cameras… this is going to rock!

Roquebrune-sur-Argens is one of the largest communes in Var. With an ideal geographical location on the Argens plain between the Maures Massif, the red cliffs of the western Estérel Massif and the Mediterranean sea, the commune has exceptional local produce and covers three areas. La Bouverie is surrounded by green in the heart of the forests and vineyards. Overlooked by the majestic Roquebrune rock, the thousand-year-old village is a living testimony of its rich historic past. The ideal place to stroll through narrow, picturesque streets and succumb to the typical Provençal village charm.

FOCUS ON THE BEACH: "LES ISSAMBRES, A TURQUOISE DIGRESSION"

In the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the seaside resort of Les Issambres is characterised by its coastline of alternating coves, rocky inlets and sandy beaches. 8 km of wild coastline between Saint-Aygulf and Sainte-Maxime with a succession of beaches and rocky inlets, lined with umbrella pines and palm trees. Bask on the sandy beaches or more intimate coves. Each day, you will discover new scenery as you explore the coast path. At Les Issambres, all roads lead to the sea! San Peïre beach, with its seafront restaurants, is one of the few beaches on the coast to have been awarded the HandiPlage label.

Focus on leisure, for all the family, at Roquebrune-sur-Argens: fun, laughter and happy memories!

Lovers of heritage, local produce, chocolate and the Provençal way of life… the Gourmet Heritage Walk organised by the Roquebrune-sur-Argens Tourist Office is a must for you!  Accompanied by a guide, visitors enjoy a 2½-hour guided tour, with gourmet tasting stop-offs. The Tourist Office treasure hunts are also a great success with families and little ones. Athletes and those with a competitive spirit should check out the village canoeing treasure hunt. An original activity that starts in the village and continues into the magnificent landscapes of the Argens at the foot of the rock. Genuine foodies will wander the village’s narrow streets in search of shop signs containing the word chocolate. The “Trésor Chocolaté” (Chocolate Treasure) is a treasure hunt ending in a sweet chocolate-tasting session with the chocolatiers of Roquebrune-sur-Argens.
